Botswana

From the Okavango Delta for exclusive wildlife watching at the Moremi Game Reserve; the reserves around the Chobe, Kwando and Linyanti rivers; the arid Kalahari Central Reserve and the salt pans of Makgadikgadi, the scenery and variety of it will leave you speechless.

Mozambique
Mozambique with its extensive, beautiful and undeveloped coastline is the perfect post safari beach holiday destination. It’s laid back charm and warm, friendly people make this up and coming location a delight.
Maputo, the capital is both clean and safe and with a rich culture and heritage. We think the best time of year to visit are the Mozambican winter months of May through October. A very pleasant 25 degrees awaits you and it avoids the sultry and rainy months. Summer is both hot and humid.
Try and avoid the end of March through April, the end of September and the whole of December to mid -January. The South African school holidays see visitor numbers soar at these times.
Mozambique is all about coastal attractions and some of the finest kilometre after kilometre stretches of pristine beaches. The Bazaruto and Quirimba archipelagos are perhaps the finest.
Diving is enjoyed in uncrowded and unspoilt dive sites and the fishing is amongst the best to be found in Southern Africa.
Humpback whale watching is famous in the region in the months of September through November and the Togo area is great for seeing the amazing manta rays. For bird watching the Limpopo and Gorongosa National Parks provide year- round interest
South Africa
South Africa is the perfect year - round destination due to its varied climates and same time zone as the UK. The summers are hot and dry during November through to February and September is perhaps the best time to visit to experience a number of the regions and see the wildlife at its most active. The whale watching season is best experienced in July.
In fact, South Africa is so varied and has so much to see and experience that in just one holiday it’s possible to cover iconic mountains, endless deserts, tropical rainforests and stunning coastlines. The wildlife is in abundance and the safari experiences are rarely bettered.
No trip to this amazing country should leave out Cape Town. This superb coastal city boasts stunning scenery and a laid- back chic vibe. There are many luxury and boutique hotels and an extensive range of high - quality restaurants covering an entire globe of different influences. The culture of the city is encapsulated in its love of food from vibrant street food to high end cuisine.
As the rugged and beautiful Cape Point Peninsular provides a most wonderful seascape, the back drop is Table Mountain. Taking a visit to the peak of this most iconic of 1000metre peaks in the heart of the city is not to be missed.
Mandela’s incarceration on Robben Island is an important period of the country’s history and a symbolic part of South Africa’s recent past. A short trip to this location is both fascinating and thought provoking.
The safari experience is amazing. Whilst the Kruger National Park is rightly famous and if based in Johannesburg, it is easily accessible. If you’re on a short break and not straying too far from Cape Town, then the Eastern Cape Game Reserve is perhaps a better option. Both have the Big Five and an abundance of varied wildlife depending on the time of year. There is also some of the most luxurious safari lodge living you could hope to find, particularly in the exclusive Sabi Sands area. Many of the luxury lodges are unfenced and attract wildlife to freely roam – a truly wonderful experience.
The Garden Route follows the southernmost coastline from Mossel Bay to Plettenburg Bay and a scenic and easy self - drive trip takes in seaside towns, coastal passes and lush green backdrops. On the route you will find Penguin and Seal colonies and some great opportunities for hiking and kayaking.
South Africa is famous for wine. The winelands stretch along the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch valleys and this most beautiful of South Africa’s regions is a delight. With world class restaurants and the huge variety of great wines to sample, the vintage wine tram is the best and safest way to get around and you don’t need to be a wine connoisseur to appreciate this wonderful setting.

Zambia
Zambia is where you will find the glorious Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and experience the mighty Victoria Falls plunge majestically into the narrow Batoka Gorge. The falls are known locally as ‘smoke that thunders’.
Safari National Parks abound in Zambia. From the remote Lunga Park in the North West, the Nsumbu Park on the shores of beautiful Lake Tanganyika and the Lower Zambesi Park where the famous Zambezi River cuts through the landscape and is home to hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffalos.
All the Parks are bristling with wildlife and also each slightly different giving some great contrast and mixed opportunities for safari experiences.
The famous annual festival known as Kuomboka takes place in Western Zambia as the ceremonial journey of the King of Lozi takes place amid much splendour, colour, music and dance.
The former capital Livingstone is an interesting glimpse of Africa’s historical past whilst the nearby World Heritage site of Lake Malawi is a scenic opportunity to scuba dive and snorkel safely whilst also visiting some of the cultural villages which hug the shoreline.
